What the food-safety certifications mean
Health Functional Food GMP is granted to facilities that follow manufacturing and quality-control standards from raw-material receipt to shipment. HACCP manages hazards step by step; our HACCP covers ginseng and red ginseng drinks, liquid teas, and fruit and vegetable juices.
FSSC 22000 is a GFSI-recognized food-safety scheme often required by global retailers; it is held by our affiliate Geumsan Dukwon. The GAP facility designation means our plant washes and processes ginseng under hygiene standards.
Patents and technology
Two black ginseng patents (production method with increased saponin, No. 10-1878348; high-temperature steaming extraction device, No. 10-2194771), a recognized in-house R&D center, Inno-Biz grade A and Global IP Star Company designation. In 2016 we registered under the “Korean Black Ginseng” geographical indication.
